The Lion King Musical is making a ROAR!

Hakuna Matata! What a wonderful phrase! It means no worries for the rest of your days….

Disney’s The Lion King first came out in 1994 and caused an UPROAR ever since! Then in 1997 The Lion King Musical debuted making the story come to life on stage! This off Broadway tour will bring the magic to you! I just saw the show this week and the opening number made me tear up. The beautiful Elton John melodies along with childhood nostalgia made it unforgettable. The musical numbers are very lively, comical but can also be very dark and dramatic like during the Hienas scenes. I was able to interview the one who interprets the Cheetah puppet, Sasha Caicedo.

Sasha Caicedo is an exotic looking Colombian actress residing in Miami, Florida when not on tour. She has dedicated her life to dancing, acting and singing but says working in The Lion King Musical has been wonderful emotional ride for her.
