Globe life park turned into the World’s largest Christmas lights maze ! So, we couldn’t pass up this holiday season to check it out. Specially since we want to make Lily Kay’s first Christmas special and knew this place was going to enchant her ! We went in the evening to appreciate the lighting but it is open as early as 4pm!
When you go through security and start heading towards the entrance of the maze, you will conveniently pass by little pop-up shops where they sell winter clothing for adults and kids in case you forget to bundle up well. We decided our baby Lily Kay needed an extra jacket to make sure she was comfortably warm to enjoy the lights. Yes, make sure you are nice and cozy because you will be enjoying all the lights in outdoor temperatures. Parents, you will have to complimentarily check your stroller before entering the maze. So, I brought my baby carrier with me in order to have my hands free to take pictures and so on. If you go through the maze without stopping much, you can get through it in about half an hour to 45 minutes. But if you are like me and like to take tons of pictures and videos, specially because it’s my daughter’s first Christmas, then maybe it can take you about an hour and a half ! Haha There are tons of cute lighted figures and two giant Christmas trees made up of lights.
Apart from the lighting spectacle we enjoyed seeing live entertainment as we entered. There was a group of carolers as we went in and a live alternative rock band as we exited the Christmas maze. Inside the maze you will encounter an ice skating rink. Oh and Santa and Mrs. Clause were there too right outside the maze!
