Mom Life

Although I have been a career-oriented gal my whole life, I have never felt as blessed and fulfilled as now carrying this beautiful miracle.  Her beating heart gave my husband, Neil Delaney, and I a new meaning to life! It has made our marriage surpass to another deeper stage of love. (Aunque siempre me he dedicado a mi carrera, no me he sentido tan llena y bendecida como ahora teniendo en mi vientre este bello milagro.  Al escuchar su corazón latir nos ha dado un nuevo significado a nuestras vidas! Ha hecho que nuestro matrimonio pase a otro nivel mas profundo de amor. ) Neil and I planned to get pregnant during our wedding festivities in Ireland but didn’t think it was actually going to happen!  We planned it since the moment we got engaged and we had HER name picked out a year before that. Yes, we picked out a girl’s name only.  Not sure what we would have named our baby if it were going to be a boy lol. But we never really had a sex preference and would have been super excited with either one. Choosing to become parents together was always a strong desire for both us. We prayed for this miracle to happen and yet we were shocked that it actually happened just the way we planned it, on the first try. We are beyond BLESSED for sure.  We know this and are extremely grateful to God for he listened to our prayers and sent us an angel from up above. ( Neil y yo planeamos que yo quedara embarazada durante nuestras festividades después del matrimonio en Irlanda pero no creímos que iba suceder! Lo planeamos desde el momento que nos comprometimos el año anterior y escogimos su nombre un año antes del compromiso! No se que nombre le hubiéramos puesto si fuera barón 🙂 Pero nunca tuvimos preferencia del sexo y nos hubiéramos alegrado inmensamente por igual. Teníamos muy presente que ser padres juntos era un gran deseo.  Rezamos para que suceda este milagro pero aun fue un shock cuando nos dimos cuenta que sucedió igual como soñamos y planeamos, con el primer intento! Somos BENDICIDOS por seguro.  Sabemos esto y estamos extremadamente agradecidos con Dios por escuchar nuestras oraciones y enviarnos un ángelito. ) We both have super supportive parents and know they will be the best grandparents in the world with their love for our baby girl.  Thanks to them we feel like we can bring this little princess to the world with the best care we can provide for her.  More than anything she will be surrounded by lots of love always. (Los dos tenemos padres que nos apoyan al cien porciento y sabemos que van a ser los mejores abuelos en el mundo entero por el amor hacia nuestra bebe.  Gracias a ellos sabemos que le vamos a dar el mejor cuidado a nuestra princesa. Mas que nada va estar rodeada de mucho amor siempre.) We pray to be amazing parents to the best of our ability.  We know we won’t be perfect, but we will strive to give her the best world possible.
